At ilham by YoShi International, quality is the cornerstone of our "Connected by Trust" philosophy. We operate with a zero-tolerance policy for defects, ensuring that every handcrafted item meets the rigorous standards of the international market.
The YoShi Quality Protocol (吉)
Inspired by Japanese industrial standards, our quality control process is divided into four distinct phases:
- Material Inspection: We source only premium-grade jute and banana fibers. Before production begins, fibers are tested for moisture content, tensile strength, and color consistency.
- Artisan Supervision: During the hand-knotting, crochet, and weaving stages, our supervisors conduct daily checks to ensure the dimensions and patterns match the approved sample exactly.
- Post-Production Testing: Once a product is finished, it is tested for load-bearing capacity (for bags) and structural integrity. We ensure all metallic accessories are rust-proof and all dyes are AZO-free and non-toxic.
- Final Pre-Shipment Audit: Before packing into export cartons, 100% of the order is inspected for loose threads, cleanliness, and finishing.
Social & Ethical Compliance
We believe that high quality can only be achieved in a high-quality environment.
- Fair Wages: We ensure all artisans receive fair-market compensation.
- Safe Environment: Our workshops are clean, well-lit, and follow international safety standards.
- Transparency: We welcome third-party inspections (such as SGS or Intertek) at our facility upon request by our wholesale partners.
